M. Gulacsi et Ks. Bedell, SINGLE-PARTICLE GREEN-FUNCTION OF THE 1D HUBBARD-MODEL, Journal of physics and chemistry of solids, 54(10), 1993, pp. 1149-1152
For the one-dimensional Hubbard model we extended the bosonization tec
hnique, away from half filling, in such a way that a general formula i
s obtained for the zero temperature equal-time single-particle Green f
unction with validity over the whole doping range. With our method we
can calculate, for the first time, the one-body Green function in both
the Tomonaga-Luttinger and Luther-Emery universality classes, to char
acterize the crossover between these two behaviors and thus, to descri
be the Mott transition. The method also gives a tool to determine the
coefficients of the correlation functions which cannot be determined w
ith previously used methods.
