Abstract
No familial cases of epilepsy associated with bilateral occipital calc ifications (EBOC) have been reported so far. This paper describes the clinical, electrophysiological and radiological study of two sisters a ffected by partial epilepsy, one with unilateral and the other with bi lateral occipital calcifications. Celiac disease was excluded in both patients, even though they presented the same HLA pattern usually foun d in coeliac subjects.
