PSYCHOLOGICAL STRESS FACTORS FOR INDUCTIO N AND DURATION OF BAKERS ASTHMA

Psychological factors which eclipse allergic asthma bronchiale with ba kers, were identified on the basis of experiments and interviews. N = 55 ill bakers, healthy bakers and asthmatics were tested. Ill bakers r eacted to psychological stimuli, which are in some way connected with their illness, differently than healthy bakers or asthmatics did. Ill bakers assess their work environment in a different way than healthy b akers do: they regard their stress at work less strong than ill bakers do.
