Abstract
Intracorporeal drug smuggling, particularly of cocaine, is increasing. The so-called 'body packers' present a difficult clinical problem, pa rticularly as no coherent management policy has been formulated. The v arious methods of diagnosis and the treatment options available are pr esented and discussed.
