Abstract
The enantiomeric ratio of chiral ammonium halides or alkali carboxylat es can be determined by mixing the salt with an optically active carbo xylate or ammonium halide, respectively (eq 1), and investigating the diastereomeric associates by H-1- or C-13-NMR.
