Abstract
The analytical properties of the components of the equation of state a re found out and their real form is stated on the base of the experime ntal data for noble gases and nitrogen. It is shown that in ''tensionl ess'' state of the matter with density n(0), corresponding to an ideal crystalline package, the internal pressure of both solid matter and c ompressed liquid vanishes. The maximum value of the internal pressure is reached in the region of normal liquid state and can be described c orrectly only by the lattice models of liquid. The paper explains the origin of some peculiarities of the compressibility factor isotherms ( ''knot points''), calculated or found experimentally.
