Abstract
We report a case of pulmonary atresia in which the ductus arteriosus u nderwent aneurysmal dilatation after infusion of prostaglandin E1 inco rporated in lipid microspheres. To our knowledge this is the first cas e in which this rare morphological change has been demonstrated with t he noninvasive method of magnetic resonance imaging.
