Abstract
The reaction of [PtCl(PPh(3))(3)]Cl with AgO3SCF3 in CHCl3/MeOH at amb ient temperature gives [Pt(PPh(2)C(6)H(4))(PPh(3))(2)]O3SCF3 (3) in qu antitative yield within a few minutes. The cyclometallated complex 3 h as been characterized by H-1, C-13, P-31 and Pt-195 NMR spectroscopies . Complete H-1 and C-13 assignments have been made by use of various o ne- and two-dimensional NMR techniques.
