Abstract
Continuous-wave (CW) operation of ridge waveguide quantum well diode l asers in the green/blue has been demonstrated at voltages as low as 4. 4V in ZnCdSe/ZnSSe/ZnMgSSe pseudomorphic separate confinement heterost ructures, with output powers up to 10mW.
