Cv. Meister, ON CURRENT FLUCTUATIONS IN NEAR-EARTH SPACE PLASMA WITH LOWER-HYBRID-DRIFT TURBULENCE, Contributions to Plasma Physics, 33(5-6), 1993, pp. 527-531
Electron and ion current fluctuations caused by lower-hybrid-drift tur
bulence are estimated within nonlinear theory for the plasma of the io
nospheric F-layer, as well as for the plasma mantle and the plasma she
et boundary layer of the tail of the earth's magnetosphere. They are f
ound to be of the order of 10(-14) - 10(-11) A/m2 and 10(-13) - 10(-9)
A/m2, respectively.
