Abstract
Four genera and species of Symphyla were identified among over 300 spe cimens collected from Berlese samples from the Middle Run Valley Natur al Area near Newark, Delaware. Symphylella delawarensis was recognized as a new species, providing the first published record of this genus east of the Mississippi River.
