Abstract
Some new substituted thiazolidinones, thioimidazolidinones and thiazol ines have been synthesized from N1-substituted N2-(4-hydroxy-7-methyl- 5H-furo[3,2-g] [1]benzopyran-5-on-9-yl)thioureas and monochloroacetic acid or alpha-halocarbonyl compounds. Some representative examples wer e tested for their anticonvulsant and antimicrobial activities.
