Design of nonlinear controllers for nonlinear systems with input multi
plicities, represented by Hammerstein systems, is presented. The probl
ems associated with linear PI controllers, moving the unconstrained li
mit cycles or destabilizing the system, are avoided in the present non
linear controller. This is illustrated by three simulation studies.
