Abstract
The pore structure of a bimodal hydrodemetalation catalyst was optimiz ed with respect to a high decomposition of metal-bearing molecules. A macro- micropore model was used for the catalyst support. The influenc e of significant parameters on the conversion over a time period is in vestigated. The calculations indicate a high potential for further imp rovement of catalyst performance.
