Abstract
2E,6S,7S,10R) - Juvenile hormone III bisepoxide, the putative characte ristic juvenile hormone of higher dipteran insects, has been synthesis ed efficiently and in high stereochemical purity from geraniol by appl ication of Sharpless asymmetric epoxidation and dihydroxylation proced ures.
