Abstract
The first measurements of the temperature dependence of the complex di electric function epsilon(ab)(omega0,T) for an ab-oriented (with the c axis perpendicular to the film) YBa2Cu3O7-delta film on a single-crys tal SrTiO3 substrate are presented. The measurements were obtained usi ng far-infrared ellipsometry. The temperature behavior of epsilon(ab)( omega0,T) qualitatively conforms to that predicted by the model of the strong electron-phonon coupling. No peaks below T(c) were observed at the frequency which was used.
