Abstract
Two new iridoids, tomentoside and 7-hydroxytomentoside, both with a 5, 6-double bond, have been found in Paulownia tomentosa in addition to t he known paulownioside and catalpol. in young plants, only catalpol an d tomentoside is found. Paulownia coreana contains catalpol and 7-hydr oxytomentoside.
