Abstract
The results of the investigations of pH-induced ATP synthesis in solut ions of some isolated factors and thylakoid membrane suspensions have been discussed. A mathematical model has been developed allowing an in contradictionary discribing of data obtained in assumption about irrev ersible character of reactions of ATP synthesis and hydrolases and abo ut membrane permeability change during proton transfer processes combi ned with the ATP synthesis.
