DISTRIBUTION PECULIARITIES OF SERUM-PROTE IN ANTIGENS OF GM AND INV SYSTEMS IN ARMENIAN POPULATION

Serum protein distribution of the Gm system was studied considering 6 enzymes in 1006 and of the Inv system in 568 virtually healthy persons of Armenian nationality. The serum factors Gm(a), GM(b), Gm(x) and In v(I) were defined by hemaglutination inhibition with the help of anti- Grn(a), anti-Gm(b), anti-Gm(x) and anti-Inv(I) sera method. The reacti on included also the anti-D sera which contain the corresponding antig ens of the systems mentioned dispensed by the <<Biotest-Serum>> firm. Establishment of genetic distances and comparative analysis of the aut hor' results as well as the literature data about the distribution fre quency of the serum factors Gm(a), Gm(b), Gm(x) and Inv(I) in Armenian s and in the main ethnic groups of the world made is possible to state that similarity exists between Armenian and European populations.
