Abstract
The extended Thomas-Fermi Approximation (ETF) is applied to the study of the microscopic foundation of the continuous medium model of the nu cleus, and a macroscopic model based on nucleon-nucleon interaction is obtained. With Skyrme force, it has been shown that the model reprodu ces the results of ETF calculations quite well.
