Abstract
The absorption coefficient of perfluoropropanoic anhydride at 147 nm w as determined by measuring the saturation ion current in trimethylamin e, induced by the absorption of photons transmitted through perfluorop ropanoic anhydride, using an Xe resonance lamp attached to two Pyrex c ells in series. k was found to be 297 +/- 74 (atm at 298 K)-1 cm-1 (ba se e).
