Abstract
After two failed implantations of artificial urethral sphincters due t o iatrogenic incontinence and after urinary diversion (colon conduit), continence was achieved by implantation of an alloplastic sling in a 51-year-old man. Three months later the patient underwent urinary undi version with augmentation cystoplasty. After 3 years a ureterocystoneo stomy was necessary due to distal ureteral stenoses. During a follow-u p of 6.5 years the patient has been continent, has a good bladder capa city, empties his bladder without residual urine, and has a normal upp er urinary tract.
