Abstract
The elution profile and recovery rates of PCDDs/PCDFs from a mixture o f charcoal and silica-gel were investigated. Relatively high recoverie s of PCDDs/PCDFs and excellent separation between PCDDs/PCDFs and PCBs were observed when 20 mg/g (w/w) of the charcoal/silica-gel was used. The method is simple and eliminates all interfering substances in the analysis of PCDDs/PCDFs.
