Abstract
The properties of ultrafine diamonds obtained from explosives are desc ribed. This product has an unusual combination of properties, which ma ke it very attractive as a component of new composite materials. Resul ts are presented of investigations of the composition, structure, surf ace and reactivity of the diamond-like carbon phase.
