IDEAL THERAPEUTIC RANGE OF CYCLOSPORINE IN WHOLE-BLOOD IN KIDNEY-TRANSPLANTED PATIENTS

Two hundred and eighty-seven renal-transplanted recipients treated wit h cyclosporine were monitored for their cyclosporine trough blood leve l periodically. Based on the monitor results, we now can define the id eal therapeutic range oi cyclosporine in whole blood as follows: 500-6 00 ng/ml in the first week of post-transplantation, 600-800 ng/ml in t he second week to sixth month oi post-transplantation, 400-600 ng/ml i n the seventh to twelfth month oi post-transplantation and 350-400 ng/ ml 1 year alter post-transplantation.
