Abstract
We have investigated the holomorphicity of the gauge coupling constant in supersymmetric theories at one- and two-loop levels focusing on it s dependence on the mass matrix. Three distinct cases arise depending on the structure of the mass matrix which we call massive, pseudo mass ive and intrinsically massless. In the first two cases, the gauge coup ling constant is holomorphic whereas it is not holomorphic in the last case.
