The equivalence of equal-time and light-cone quantisation is an open q
uestion, in particular in the non-perturbative regime. We investigate
this in a domain beyond the scope of weak coupling perturbation theory
by investigating the scalar phi1+1(4)-model, which has non-perturbati
ve classical kink solutions. Using stationary phase approximation for
the light-cone path integral and properly taking into account the ligh
t-cone constraints, we compute the quantum corrections to the kink mas
s and find agreement with the result from equal-time quantisation.
