Abstract
Spin dependent quark and gluon distributions constructed in the framew ork of the spin dilution model and in agreement with recent SMC data o n the deuteron polarised asymmetries are presented. This model, when i ncluded the anomalous gluon contribution produces quark distributions that give a very good description of all available experimental data v erifying Bjorken and Ellis-Jaffe sum rules.
