GEODESIC MULTIPLICATION AND THE THEORY OF GRAVITY

Nonassociative algebraic systems called local geodesic loops and their tangent Akivis algebras are considered. The construction of geo-odula r structure of a manifold with an affine connection is briefly reviewe d. A possible role of these algebraic structures in classical and quan tum gravity is discussed.
