OPEN CASTING, TABLE AND ART WARE MOLDS - A REVIEW ON RINGS AND CUTTING METHODS

This paper is a review of the cutting techniques used in the conventio nal open casting process. The open casting process and the different t ypes of plaster moulds used are briefly described followed by a consid eration of the different cutting methods in relation to the different types of plaster moulds.
