Abstract
A new class of potential antiviral drugs is represented by isoxazolidi ne nucleosides. The paper reports on the synthesis of protected adenin es useful as dipolarophiles in the preparation of analogues of dideoxy adenosine by Id-dipolar cycloaddition processes.
