The influence of wave oscillations on dynamics of H2S and O2 co-existe
nce zone in the slope regions is studied. Internal waves, affecting fl
uid mixing are induced by barotropic wave with the amplitude and frequ
ency typical to the seiche in the region under consideration when it p
ropagates over the shelf break. The short-term (several periods) exist
ence of barotropic seiches was modelled. The hydrochemical fields evol
ution both during and after the influence of the barotropic seiches wa
s studied.
