Abstract
A new method of flow visualization has been used to film the injection mold filling operation. A study of jetting has been performed using r eal-time neutron radiography which permits real-time visualization thr ough metal molds. Results of this method for a thermoplastic elastomer filling an end-gated strip mold are reported for a bench-scale inject ion molder at constant pressure.
