Abstract
Some remarks on the analysis of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans in pulp and paper industry matrices are presented. The w ay in which samples are dried and the solvent which is used for extrac tion can affect the results. For the separation of individual congener s, three capillary columns with different lengths and polarities have been compared. The effect of the resolution of the mass spectrometer h as been tested for pulp samples.
