Abstract
A reliable enzymatic procedure has been devised for the determination of glycerol-3-phosphate and glycero-phosphorylcholine based on spectro photometry. Glycerol-3-phosphate oxidase and phospholipase-D enzymes a re used to produce hydrogen peroxide to oxidize iodide into triiodide at an elevated pH in the presence of Mo(VI), and the absorbance of the triiodide was read at 352 nm.
