Abstract
The female and male of Mesocyclops leuckarti (CLAUS, 1857) from a Euro pean population are redescribed in detail. New diagnostic characters a re described which have passed unnoticed so far. All six naupliar stag es of this species are studied as well. Characters of the adult and na upliar external morphology are discussed with respect to previous stud ies.
