The authors investigated the aquatic mycoflora and the environmental f
actors at two sites of the River Suprasl on the occurrence of various
aquatic Hyphomycetes. At the stations investigated the presence of 56
aquatic Hyphomycetes species was noted. The foam of both site I and si
te II contained more species than did the water collected at these sit
es. Most of the aquatic Hyphomycetes found at the sites studied are co
mmon fungi quite frequently found in different kinds of water bodies.
On the other hand 17 species have been comparatively seldom encountere
d up to date.
