Abstract
The method of IR pulse initiation of chemical reactions is considered. A mathematical model is suggested to describe physical and chemical p rocesses following the pulse initiation: changes in both temperature a nd concentration fields through the volume of a chemical reactor are c alculated as time functions. CHClF2 decomposition is investigated expe rimentally in the presence of a sensitizer under TEA CO2-laser irradia tion. It is found that the composition of reaction products depends on the conditions of laser pyrolysis. The results of model calculations are in good agreement with the experimental data.
