Abstract
The Al content of mordenite frameworks can be estimated without calcul ating the unit cell constants. The number of Al atoms in the framework of mordenites can be related to the spacing between two peaks (402) a nd (004) by a linear equation. The framework composition of mordenites can be also determined from the peak intensities of the (200) and (15 0) reflections.
