DIGITAL DERMATOGLYPHES IN A MALE-POPULATI ON OF INPATIENTS

In a previous report we have examined the digital dermatoglyphes in a population of 316 female in-patients. Now, we expose the same type of investigation in a population of 223 male in-patients from the same me ntal hospital. Finger dermatoglyphics can be usefull for nosography, c lassification and, perhaps, as an indicator of a good differential asy metric hemispheric function. In the comprehensive patients group there are less L, much more A, more W. The higher A rate belongs to the 02 class (chronic schizophrenia).
