Partial solutions of the general equation were derived, dependent on t
he liquid phases flow ratio F. Intervals of F values that condition th
e differentiated course of the dependence of the quotient of total rec
overies or concentrations of two volatile analytes on gas flow rate we
re determined for the adopted ratios of magnitudes of the partition co
efficients. Partial solutions presented enable optimization of sample
and liquid sorbent flow rates during isolation and preconcentration of
volatile analytes in liquid sorbent stream.
