Abstract
Diabetic fibrous mastopathy, also known as lymphocytic mastitis, is an uncommon lesion of the breast that occurs in women with long-standing insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM). To my knowledge, the fine -needle aspiration findings of a histologically confirmed case of diab etic fibrous mastopathy have not been previously described and illustr ated in the cytology literature.
