Abstract
The effect of tension deformation at 4,2 K with subsequent warming to room temperature upon the defective structure and the superconducting transition temperature T(c) of electron-beam melted zirconium is studi ed. The appreciable increase in T(c) (be 20%) is due to enhanced super conductivity at the sites of localized plastic strain al the twin boun daries and is connected with the effective change of the electron attr action constant.
