The relative contribution of tunneling to the overcoming of trap-induc
ed potential by in quasi-one-dimensional antiferromagnetic dielectric
is considered. The comparison between calculated and measured temperat
ure dependencies of exciton rate is made for a quasi-one-dimensional c
ollinear antiferromagnet CsMnCl3l2H2O. The potential barrier energy an
d the effective exciton mass are estimated.
