Abstract
Several surgical approaches have been reported for operative correctio n of complex or recurrent form of aortic coarctation. In this study we report our experience with extra-anatomic ascending-supraceliac abdom inal bypass grafting for complicated form of aortic coarctation in 12 patients. All patients survived the operations, without late mortality . This type of surgical correction of complex or recurrent form of coa rctation is a safe and effective procedure.
