Abstract
(10 xi,15R,16S,19S,20S,34R)-Corossoline, a structural representative o f the cytotoxic monotetrahydrofuranyl annonaceous acetogenins, was syn thesized from two chiral starting materials - (S)-glutamic acid and (R )-ethyl lactate, and 10-undecenoic acid.
