Abstract
The infrared and far infrared spectra of the water-acetone complex hav e been studied from 10 to 4500 cm-(1) in argon matrices. A number of i ntramolecular complex bands have been observed both in the water and a cetone fundamental regions. The in (water) plane shear and the out of (water) plane shear intermolecular fundamentals have been observed for a number of isotopomers.
