Abstract
The authors studied the potential of an antihypoxic drug oliphen in ra ising the efficacy of hemorrhagic shock treatment with sodium chloride isotonic solution. The severity of the shock and the efficacy of trea tment were evaluated by parameters of central hemodynamics, microcircu lation, oxygen regimen and acid-base condition. Dog and white rat expe riments showed that the addition of oliphen to solution treatment prod uced better results than sodium chloride solution alone.
