Abstract
A sudden increase of abortion rate (17,7 p. cent) and of congenital ma lformations in a Tunisian flock of 2 576 ewes led to the suspicion of Border disease. Blood samples were collected from 53 aborted ewes and presented neutralising antibodies against the Border disease Pestiviru s, strain B.P II Scotland.
