Abstract
Quinaozolin-2,4-(1H,3H)-dione (1), 6,7-dimethoxy-quinazolin-2,4-(1H,3H )-dione (2), and 2,3,4-tetrahydro-2,4-dioxo-pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine (3 ) were subjected to Mitsunobu conditions using propinol to give the 1, 3-dialkylated derivatives 4, 5, and 6.
